Opinion-Tech is proud to introduce
OpTech/CATI-net,
a seamless blending of CATI telephone interviewing with
Internet-based, self-paced surveys. The same questionnaire
programming and data output are used for both, so there’s
no duplicate front- or back-end work. Dynamic
text-to-speech technology means respondents don’t
have to read questions off the screen.

The new Opinion-Tech website is finally available (version 1.0).
This site is primarily informational, providing access to background material,
documents, and downloads. Additional website services for accessing
project resources and controlling jobs will be in the 2.0 website.

The current OpTech/Server release is 4.0.0. Contact OpTech support
to confirm that your installation is up to date.
A major release (4.1) is planned for late in 2003, after the election
cycle. Key new features include: expanded and revamped interview
metrics for improved real-time oversight; automated detection and
reporting of interviewing anomalies such as abnormally fast or slow
responses; automated alerts and interventions to safeguard interview quality.
